Why YOU should sign-in to your
Google Chrome browser.

Google Chrome is a very powerful search engine. On top of being the fastest web browser for multiple years in a row, Chrome also offers some very resourceful perks to benefit us and our students.

Why you should sign in to Google Chrome.
When you are signed in to Google Chrome on any device, you have all the customizations - your bookmarks, your usernames, your extensions, etc.

Protect yourself. Also signing on to Google Chrome makes you the owner of your bookmarks, usernames, search history, autofills, etc.
If you are using Google Chrome without signing in, this information is stored within the computer, (not your account). The first person to sign in to Google Chrome can than become owner of this information. This is a VERY important reason why you should sign in to Chrome… so you become owner of your information.
You are, most likely, signed into Google Chrome on your school device.  Here is how to be sure you are signed in: Look in the top right of your screen and you should see a small box with your name in it. The user name in this example is Joy work.
If you see you are not signed in, or want to on your own device, follow the steps below.
Signing in to Chrome is a user-friendly process:

2. Scroll down and select ‘Settings’
3. In the Settings page, click on the button
“Sign in to Chrome”
4. Sign in with your @mvla.net username and password
5. This statement is stating that the data you are syncing will be managed in the @mvla.net account.

If you do not want this data (your bookmarks, usernames, etc) synced with your MVLA account - you should sign in with a personal email (so you still own  your data).
